The Secret to a Great Wrap

You have an amazing wrap at your favourite restaurant and figure you’ll try and recreate it at home, but for some reason it just doesn’t have that same signature taste to it. Its good, but just not quite there. For us at the Spicy Radish Cafe our house vinaigrette is a staple in most of our wraps and could easily be that secret ingredient that takes your wrap from good to great. Dress the lettuce heaped into your wraps, and they’re sure to come closer to your restaurant fave.

This recipe came out of a tattered copy of a Better Homes and Gardens cookbook from the 70’s and is one of the most versatile dressings in our tool kit. It makes its way into a multitude of salads, in marinades, wraps, is a component of our potato salad dressing and is found in our beloved Spicy Mistress sandwich. At home its a favourite poured over fresh garden cucumbers and dresses up cooked chicken and fish. Bonus, its a super easy recipe to make with kids or for any kitchen amateur.
